Leadership in Infrastructure and Metro Rail Projects

Rajdeep’s career is marked by his leadership in high-value underground and elevated metro rail projects, utilizing advanced tunnelling techniques such as TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) and NATM (New Austrian Tunnelling Method). He has successfully managed the construction of metro stations using both top-down and bottom-up sequencing, as well as box pushing methods. His portfolio includes significant contributions to the Pune, Nagpur, Mumbai, Delhi, and Ahmedabad metro systems, where he has overseen the execution of twin tunnels, elevated corridors, and complex station structures. Notably, he led the Pune Metro underground package, delivering 5 km of twin tunnels and three underground stations in a record 20 months, and played a pivotal role in the timely completion of the Nagpur Metro’s 10 km elevated corridor.

As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Professional Engineer (PE), Rajdeep excels in strategic planning, cost control, resource optimization, and risk mitigation. In his current role as Vice President-Projects at RRSM Infra, Goa, he leads the infrastructure projects business vertical, steering project coordination and tendering teams toward ambitious order booking targets, with a vision to secure approximately ?3,000 crore in new business by FY’26.
